He snapped his head toward Riley, his eyes radiating homicidal fury. "You caused all of this! You killed my grandmother! You destroyed everything!"
Terrified, Riley trembled like a leaf in the wind, desperately clinging to Christian's legs. "Christian, I was wrong! Please, don't cast me out! I can't have children anymore. You're all I have left! You can't just abandon me!"
"Let go." Christian's voice was a dead, wintry wind.
Instead of letting go, Riley clung tighter, wailing and throwing a full-blown tantrum. "I won't let go! If you dare throw me out, I'll expose everything! I'll completely destroy the Ford family's reputation!"
