The Wolfless Doctor
Prologue
Donna was born into the Crescent Moon Pack, the daughter of two ordinary omegas. Her parents held no rank, no real power—but they had each other, and they had her. That was enough.
They could shift into their wolves.
Donna could not.
In a pack where identity was bound to the wolf within, her lack of one marked her as different from the start. Still, her parents never treated her as less. They loved her fiercely, shielding her from what they could—and quietly worrying about what they could not.
So, Donna adapted.
If she lacked strength, she would excel elsewhere. She became sharp, observant, relentlessly driven. By the time most students were settling into their lessons, Donna was already two years ahead, outpacing wolves older and stronger than her.
But intelligence did not earn respect in the Crescent Moon Pack.
Strength did.
And in their eyes, Donna had none.
The night was cold, a sharp wind biting at the edge of the forest as Donna stood alone on the ridge. After the night her parents were taken, the world had shifted beneath her feet. And Nolan—always the alpha’s son, always the bully—now stood at the heart of her pain, rejecting her in front of everyone. And so, without a word, Donna left—her future now unfolding far beyond the pack. When the Council learned of Nolan’s rejection, they stripped him of his birthright. And Donna—she vanished into a new life, dedicating herself to the healing she once dreamed of.
