One month later
Alice called her husband, but he didn't pick up the phone call, she got worried because it was 9:30pm and he has not come back from work
She was so scared, thinking whether they have kidnapped her husband, things went through her brain, she just prayed to God to keep her husband safe
She was so restless that night, she dialed his phone number, then it was switched off, she prayed and prayed
11:33pm he came back, she welcomed him warmly but he pushed her away, she fell to the ground
Max said" hugging me without a baby boy, is that right in your brain" she didn't respond
Alice went to the kitchen and served her husband his best food, he rejected the food and told her , he has already eating
She said, eating from who ,she asked
From someone who gave birth to a baby boy to her husband, he responded
But honey, I hop..
He cut her shut and told her who is your honey here, who looks like your honey
She just sighed and tears rolled down her eyes
He laughed seeing her crying and told her to cry her crocodile tears out
She wiped her tears, and asked why he came late from work
He said, what's your problem with me coming home around 11:33pm please mind your business, max said
Sorry for asking, Alice said
I called your phone you didn't pick, I was so worried about your whereabout, Alice said
Hey you b***h ,it will be okay if you leave me alone, because I hate seeing you,max said
Anyways, I want to tell you that our daughter is not feeling okay, her temperature is high, Alice said
Who is our daughter, I disowned her when she was born, so she is not mine, she is all yours
Max why are you doing like this, can't you behave like a man that you are
Max just laughed, and rubbed his chin smoothly
The next day
Max left the house so early and went to work, Alice followed him behind without him knowing
She saw max not going to work, he entered a house
She was so surprised at what she saw
Before max entered the house, he removed his ring
Alice cried seeing this
Then he knocked and a young, single lady opened the door, he kissed her and he backed her and entered the house
Alice cried and just went to the house
She picked up her phone and called her mom, her mom picked up the phone call and the conversation went like this:
Mom: hello my daughter
Alice: hello mama
Mom: how are you my daughter?
Alice: I am not fine mama
Mom: what happen , what is going on?
Alice: mama it's a long story
Mom: I am here to hear all
Alice: can you believe, my husband embarrassed me in the hospital, disowned your granddaughter and now he is cheating on me, I don't even know what to do
Mom: my daughter, everything will be alright, just be patient
Alice: ok mama, but I am thinking of divorcing
Mom: ah, Alice don't even go there,I disagree for that one
Alice: ok mama
Mom: it will be alright, just take care of my granddaughter
Alice: ok mama, bye
Mom: bye
They hung up the phone
