Chapter 24 - Sundown's ChallengeSundown's convoy of ASLAVS and Bushmasters complete with soldiers and crew, was half way across the Simpson Desert on their way to the commando's safe house, the Christian Palace.
The group had taken a little longer than expected because Billie wanted to stop off to visit his tribesmen in the middle of the desert. By this time they knew of the successes and losses of the commando's patrols, so one more day wouldn't matter now.
Billie didn't invite McFly this time, he wanted to attend to his tribe's secret men's business alone. McFly had a feeling Billie wouldn't be back.
