Raven’s P.O.V. I adjusted my jacket as Lucy and I stepped into the small, cozy diner. The scent of sizzling bacon and fresh pancakes filled the air, making my daughter bounce excitedly beside me. She squeezed my hand, her little face lit up with pure delight. “Daddy! This is the best day ever! Pancakes AND bacon? What did I do to deserve this?
