The night of the Halloween Jubilee has arrived at long last the sky had just turned pitch-black from it’s brilliant blue and the liberty department store was covered in Halloween decorations for the Jubilee,Even the bathroom stalls were lined with carved unlit pumpkins, and, decorated with spooky decor from top to bottom.
It’s time for the job challenge to start, and, Miss Branding is the first to start her presentation on what she hopes will be Chenille Couture’s new Halloween line,
“Ladies & Gentleman”, she calmly begins, “The theme of both of these fashion show presentations is simple yet in it’s own way flashy”,
“What Halloween means to you”,she continues.
“As such” she goes on to say “I like to say the answer in fashion terms…”
“Oh man here we go”, said SparklesCaitlin watching from afar,
Barbara/Brandy glares back, having been in earshot, but keeps her face blank ,and focused on the crowd as she continues announcing her presentation.
“Is the dark yet chic fashion style that is Gothic Lolita” she finishes.
she removes the wine red colored cover-up dress she had on when she first arrived,
to reveal… a Champagne colored Gothic Lolita dress with black and gold beads,
and a black lace headdress with the same gold beads as the dress ,(Similar to the one she saw on her mothers display case years prior except the head wear was soft pink rather then pitch black).
“Holy Plaid that’s stylish”. Flora/Flutter said in total awe, “And so i now present to you what i hope will be miss Cheryl Chenille’s Halloween runner when it hits stores”.
“And my Gothic Key to my freedom” she thinks to herself.
“… The Sweet Chic Mystique Collection,Here it is in the flesh, pun intended”.
As the upbeat yet mysterious music Barbara (Brandy) picked for her presentation plays,
Flora (Flutter),Blanche, and Caitlin (Sparkles) look on in complete and total awe at the models (Including Brandy Herself), as the step on stage, they each express just how they feel when they watch such a display, Flora says, “Thoses dresses look really pretty don’t they?”, Caitlin says (Or to better put it scoffs), “It sound weird, to say but that’s actually good”, and Blanche says,
“Amen to that girl but i’m sure our show will be just as good”.
And as the show goes on with black, pale green, and pink strobe lights,
Barbara reflect on her hollow Elegant Mode career,as well , as hard as it was, it was
because of those hardships that she is who she is today.
As the music and presentation both come to a close Barbara takes a bow, at the end of her black paved runway, and whispers right under her breath her own catchphrase from back home:"Let It Ring let it ring…"
