I followed Jerome as he got off basement two. I was thankful that I ran into him since I didn’t even know that there was more than one parking floor. I would have gotten lost and I wouldn’t know where to get off. As Jerome got into his car, I watched him put his stuff including his coat and bag in the backseat. He then opened the passenger door for me and had me go inside. As soon as he sat in the driver’s seat, he started the engine and turned the air conditioning on. He then looked at me, smiled, and gave me a quick peck on the lips. Jerome: “You look great, baby.” Valerie: “Thank you. You look tired. Are you sure you’re up to this?
