WE left the house with Jerome’s question still hanging in the air. When I couldn’t answer right away, he said that I could think about it and let him know once I’ve made my decision.
I was still thinking about it as we were travelling back to the hospital. Jerome took my hand and kissed it. I smiled and looked at him intently.
