Endless Black

PROMISE

Rose looked around her and saw she was in the hospital. and all that ash and her talking near

the lake was just a dream. She tried to sit but can't. Then she saw Bella was sleeping beside

her. How Came Bella is here?? so she shook Bella. She woke up after a few pushes. When she

saw Rose she smiled. "how are you sister?"

Rose was irritated to see her. she does not want to see her after waking up. She wanted to see

ash. remembering Ash she became restless. she tries to stand up

"what are you doing sister?? you can't stand up. Then Rose felt pain in her leg. She looked at it

and saw she had a bandage on her leg. She was still trying to move.

"tell me where you want to go?? I will help you?"

Rose looked at Bella. her sister. Her world was surrounded by only 4 peoples but Bella took it

away from her.

now, what does she want?? before Rose could ask Roy came inside the cabin.

"sister; you are awake?" Rose looked at Roy and shook her head. Then she again tried to walk.

She needed to see ash. if he is ok. That dream is killing her.

"Do you want to know about ash?"Roy asked.

Rose looked at him and nodded her head.

"wait I will let you meet with him"

Rose became hopeful. That means ash is ok. She smiled.

Roy came with a wheelchair and made her seat on it. all this time Bella was there but rose does

not speak with her.

Roy took Rose to another floor. here only beeping sounds can be heard. She looked up and

saw the ICU was written in there. she became afraid.

Rose looked toward Roy but he was not looking at her. Rose felt like she was dying from

suffocation. Then Roy came to stop near a glass wall. rose look but can't see anything beyond

tubes and machines. Roy said

"Ash was heavily injured. He got hurt when he hit his head. and a bullet also pierced through his

arm. He lost too much blood. but thanks to you and your sister that he is still alive. but he is in

critical condition. We couldn't say anything unless he woke up. If he doesn't then he might be in

a coma for the rest of his life."

Rose started to cry. Roy pat her shoulder and said

"our ash is a fighter. he will be ok"

Rose nodded her head. yes, he is a fighter. He fought for her. now it's her time. she will make

him wake up. the doctor came to them. Roy ask

"any improvement?"

"no. he is not responding to anything. it could be helpful if someone constantly spoke to him and

brought his consciousness. After he woke up we can tell how many injuries he sustained. Rose

heard him and held Roy's hand. Roy look at her

"do you need anything sis"

she pointed toward the ash room.

"Do you want to go?"Rose shook her head as yes.

Roy look at the doctor and ask

"can we go?"

"yes but only 10 min"

Rose and Roy enter the cabin. When Rose saw ash tears start to fall without a break. Roy

pushed Rose's wheelchair near ash.

Rose took hold of Ash's hand and saw how fragile it looked. this hand that gave her support is

now lifeless.

she carry and speaks

"Ash"

Roy was shocked to hear Rose speak. Rose was speaking. but it hurt her throat so much. but

still, she speaks

"Please...... please....... wake ....up. see now........I am speaking "

she coughed. Roy went near the table and got water for her . she drank the water trembling

hand. then again she speaks

"you said..... you love me... then doesn't sleep...... we have...... many things to do. you have.....

to ..... marry....me.no.....no.... you have .....to propose.... me first....."

again she coughed. and this time it lasts long. Roy got tense and said

"if it's hurt sister you should not speak "

"no... I have to..... this stupid..... never....listen

.... to me.... tell him to ....wake up... he promised..... how can he break..... his promise. "

she held his hand more tightly and started to cry more. her tears fell on Ash's hand. Rose still

cries. then the doctor said

"you have to leave "Roy took hold of her wheelchair and when he pull rose said

"stop"

Roy looked towards Rose but Rose was looking at Ash's hand. the doctor also saw this. He

came near the ash and checked the ash. after sometime he said

"he responded to this young lady. if she speaks with him he might respond. "

Roy became happy but rose on the other hand crying.

she said" you .... bull... why don't..... you open .....your damn..... beautiful..... ash .... eye

and....look ..... at me.."

due to crying, she is having more difficulty speaking. doctor look at her and said

"you need rest ma'am. you can come later. and I will ask for another doctor for your throat. "

"No... I don't need... doctor... ash promised... he will .... bring.... best doctor...for me... if he

doesn't....then I will.... not get treatment...."

"sister ;what are you saying "

"please.... this i....is my request..... please allow me..."

"ok"Roy agreed.

"please you all should go out. we need to check up." the doctor said.

Roy and rose went out. Rose looked toward Ash through the glass door. and promised to herself

that she will bring ash back from the coma.
