Darkness. Darkness was all I saw and cold was all I felt. It happened again. How did I keep ending up here? I tried to think hard through the pain to find out what had happened.
Then it hit me. I went to Gio’s party with Sara and we were standing on the top of the steps. I knew it was a bad idea to go, but for some stupid reason, I did it anyway.
If I had not gone, this would never have happened. My head was pounding and my memory was blurry, but it was still there.
I remember Gio suddenly appearing at my side, grabbing me, and claiming me. He claimed me in front of everyone there. I hope they did not notice, although it would be impossible for them not to hear with how loud he was.
