When Chris texted me that the alpha pup showed up at the packhouse I was immediately worried. I panicked and asked Genivive if there was anything that could be done to suppress the mate bond. She said it is extremely dangerous and it could possibly be detrimental if I were to use the potion she had for a prolonged period.
At first, she did not even want to give it to me, but after paying a very hefty price and promising only to use it if it were absolutely necessary, she finally gave in and handed it over.
