It all happened so quickly. Gio claimed Anya in front of everyone and I tried to suggest that we go somewhere a little more private to deal with this but Anya blacked out and went completely limp in Gio’s arms.
Now I was following him upstairs as he carried Anya somewhere. I had no idea where we were headed. As we hurriedly climbed the stairs, I realized that we were headed to the upper floors.
