NATE TOOK A LONG, SHUDDERING breath, and then another. He really didn’t want to do this. Stop being a p***y. He nodded once to himself and tugged on his cufflinks at either wrist. He reached out his hand to the silver knob and pulled the door open. He’d designed that door, chosen that handle. He moved inside and reached for the arrogance he knew was there to be had. The same confidence that had got him through a tough college degree, even harder job placements, and then building his own company from one room to a building full of people.
