(Madison POV)
I groaned and opened my eyes. My eyes first met with a curtained window. There was a small space where I could see the night sky.
The only light was from a dull lit night lamp attached to the wall.
I looked around until my eyes landed on a figure sleeping very uncomfortably on a chair in the corner.
"Dad" I called but he didn't respond. I looked at my body and found so many bandages. Pushing the blanket down and pulling up the shirt, I found my stitches replaced and nicely bandaged.
I tried to move but stopped as I felt a sting on my stomach.
I bite my lips as I looked at my father. I don't want to wake him but I need to use the washroom.
"Dad. Dad, wake up" I called, this time voicing more loudly.
He hummed and opened his eyes before sleeping dragging his eyes aro
