Chapter 2

I nodded, swallowed hard, and felt the fragrance emanating from her. I was aroused by her. "Patrick, you're not being a good boy," Natasha said. She noticed my lower body slightly bulging and then sat on top of me, rubbing that area. "Natasha, please don't do this..." I was shocked. This was Natasha, the dream girl of many boys. She actually touched me softly. But I knew it was wrong because I was her brother. I struggled in my mind, and finally, reason prevailed. I pushed her away. "What? Don't you want to make love with me?" After I pushed her away, Natasha wasn't angry. Instead, she continued to blow in my ear, then took my hand and placed it on her thigh, caressing it. "Are you not going to do it? Or you are impotent?" Natasha suddenly looked disdainful at my crotch. I shook my head quickly, and Natasha chuckled and said, "Then do it." Then Natasha put on the half-removed nightwear, and then lay on the bed sideways, gesturing for me to come and undress. She also used her hands to caress her body, showing off her figure. Then, slowly, one of her hands slid down to her round and elastic buttocks and continued to gently stroke her underwear. As I saw her like that, any last shred of sanity I had vanished instantly. I hastily took off my coat and threw it aside, pouncing on her. Then my trembling hand slowly slipped into her nightwear. In the moment I touched her delicate skin, I went numb all over. Then my hand continued to move forward, and when I was about to grab Natasha's chest, she suddenly screamed, "Patrick, what are you doing? I'm your sister, ah... Dad, help!" I was stunned. What had suddenly happened to her? My foster father, Jasper, used to be a soldier in one of the top units, and almost made it into the special operations force. He was a light sleeper, and even the slightest noise could wake him up. With Natasha screaming so loudly, of course, he would hear it. The door was kicked open with a bang. Jasper looked at me in shock, then saw my hand inside Natasha's nightwear. He was furious. He dragged me over and slapped me hard across the face, instantly swelling my cheeks. At this time, Selena also came in. She glanced at me and my disheveled clothes, and then looked at Natasha, who was sobbing softly. Selena immediately knew what was going on and looked at me with a complex expression, saying, "Patrick, you let me down." She then left the room without looking back. It felt terrible to be misunderstood. Selena, who was always so good to me, had misunderstood me. My heart was about to break. In the room, there were only me, Jasper, and Natasha, who was still hiding under the covers, sobbing softly. "Dad, it's not like that, I..." "I saw it all. What else do you want to explain?" Jasper pointed at me, trembling with anger. Then Natasha poked her head out from under the covers and said, "Dad, the lamp on my desk is broken. I asked Patrick to help me fix it, but as soon as he came in, he... he..." "I didn't!" I clenched my fists and looked at Jasper, my voice unwavering. "Dad, don't believe him, you can check the lamp on the desk. I really asked him to come and fix the lamp," Natasha cried even harder. She was so good at acting. "Get out! Get out of here! Leave my house!" Jasper yelled at me. I knew my explanation wouldn't help. After all, I was a stranger to them. They would never believe me, even if I was telling the truth. I walked out of the house, slamming the door with all my might. It created a loud bang. At that moment of closing the door, I saw Natasha looking at me with a hint of a smile on her lips. It was already late at night. I didn't know where to go, and I had not much money. I sat on the side of the road, staring blankly ahead. The cold wind kept blowing, chilling not only my body but also my heart. I never thought that Natasha, who was nice on the surface, would set a trap for me. But then I thought, 'She is still that vibrant, sociable Natasha.. She just hates me now, so she's willing to sacrifice herself just to push me away.' I felt incredibly helpless, starting to miss the time with my biological parents before the accident, when we were all together, happy and carefree. I also thought of my days in the orphanage, playing with other kids. In that moment, I felt more lost than ever before. I thought, ‘So I'm gonna get away from them.' I gritted my teeth, moved my somewhat numb legs, and headed in the opposite direction of home. The weather wasn't too cold at the time, but for me, who was wearing only a thin piece of clothing, felt extremely cold. I felt like falling into an ice cave. With only 5 dollars in my pocket, I spent one dollar to take a bus to a place farther from home. And I spent the remaining four dollars on a bottle of water and a few pieces of bread. I didn't know when I lost my phone, and I felt so depressed. Later, I found a small restaurant to work in. The boss was a good person. He gave me some food and let me stay at his restaurant. But one day, the landlady came back and mistook me for a lost minor. She had a big fight with the boss, and in the end, she called the police and had me taken away. It was Selena who came to the police station to pick me up. She hugged me with tears in her eyes, crying and asking why I didn't answer the phone. She said they shouldn't have drawn conclusions before knowing the truth. She also said that after I left, they felt that something was wrong and that I wasn't that type of a person. It was only after Jasper questioned Natasha that they learned the truth. Jasper and Selena tried to call me back, but I lost my phone and didn't know they had called me. After returning to the house, Selena took me into their bedroom, saying I was older and that I should be considerate of Natasha. Then she poured me a glass of water and asked me to sit down and talk. Actually, Natasha was only four or five months younger than me. I looked at them, feeling that something was wrong. Selena was always very good to me, but when she poured the water, she seemed very formal. I felt a little uneasy, waiting for what they were going to say next. Seeing my nervousness, Jasper sighed and said, "You and Natasha can't get along well. You will have to fight if you stay under the same roof." At Jasper's words, I, who had just regained the warmth of family life, felt a tremor in my heart, and I asked softly in disbelief, "Are you suggesting that..." Jasper looked guilty and glanced at Selena, but Selena didn't speak. So Jasper seemed to take a deep breath and continued, "Patrick, we're sorry. For Natasha's sake, you can't stay here anymore." I was dealt a heavy blow. Just as I returned to the warm home, I was told that I couldn't stay here. I was abandoned and thrown out. I looked at Selena, hoping for a turnaround, but all I got was an apologetic look. In an instant, feelings of despair and disappointment flooded my mind. For seven years, I had been obedient every day, trying my best. I studied hard, did household chores for them, and always tried to please my sister Natasha, who hated me. I thought of this place as my real home, the only sanctuary in my life. I thought that as long as I worked hard enough, they would accept me as family. But it turned out to be just my fantasy. I couldn't hold back my tears and saw Selena turn her head away, not looking at me. I knew I had lost everything. At that moment, I thought of death.
