(Cecil’s POV)
I’m sitting at Sydney’s bed side again, wondering what happened to my daughter. Who or what could’ve done this to her. Oliver walks in looking extremely depressed. I quickly stand up freeing the seat next to her bed. I know it’s important for her mate to be close to her. God it makes me think about Rodrick a lot. I miss him everyday. There’s been an empty space in my heart since he died. Oliver looks at me sympathetically.
“I wish we could’ve met under better circumstances.” He utters.
“Yes, so do I hun. But we are family now because of Sydney and I am glad about that because with our you I’d have no one.” I tell him.
