Kaitlin’s POV
Dinner had surprisingly gone well. After dessert was served, we all stood around having small conversations and making plans to meet with each other in a few days for official meetings. Benjamin disappeared with Ryan for a few minutes after dessert and they both came back slightly irritated but otherwise fine and did not leave my side. When I asked them what was going on, they said it was nothing, and Blayn and I shared a look.
Elder Stephen was in a much better mood during dinner, telling all sorts of funny stories about Alpha’s and Beta’s during previous conferences.
