I continued to observe quietly in my seat blending into my surroundings that no one even noticed. I watched Kaitlin and Blayn continue their discussion and suddenly I felt the atmosphere change, “Beta, watch how you speak about things to me.” The words sounded harsh, but it lacked the venom that I have heard from Alpha’s when they have been insulted. Elder Marcus looked at the two and recognition flashed between them all, but it was too quick for me to catch what it was about.
