I stood quickly, not wanting to be in the tent anymore, it was too much. My hands hurt from how much I was gripping them while he explained his story to me. I could hardly believe what he was telling me yet there it was, a mate mark and I had seen his wolf. His wolf apologized to me for Dakota. Maybe not for Dakota, for his lack of help when it came to his human counterpart. For the pain I experienced from that part.
