Kaitlin’s growl was low and almost sounded sensual. I shook my head and laughed when Jake said “Women.” Like that explained the mystery of them.
Jake and Dane made pleasant small talk for a few more seconds before the doors opened to the ground floor where we all exited. They waved goodbye and walked off towards the entrance of the hotel. I turned to Kaitlin, who looked at me.
“Well, where to Beta?” she asked, eyes bright and a warm smile across her face. “I really don’t want to be near our rooms at the moment.
