Kaitlin's POV
Ben's mouth fell open in shock at my words, and he was speechless for a minute before turning to look at his father. His eyes lingered there for a minute before he turned to me, eyes sparkling.
"My vicious little Viking Queen." He grabbed my face and kissed me hard. I melted into his embrace. I felt all his emotions coursing through him and knew it would take time for him to sort through it all. He pulled away from me, and I was breathless. He kissed me softly once more before pulling back.
"I honestly don't know if I am more pissed off or impressed, but Angel, I am grateful for what you did. I know he gave me life, but he hurt you, and I will never forgive him for trying to control the supernatural and because he tried to take you from me." He whispered and
