Ben’s POV
“I will let you stay a few minutes more, there is much to discuss between both of you.” Selene says and walks away, leaving us staring into each other’s eyes.
Before Selene gets too far from us, Kaitlin looks at her and says, “So, you won’t punish me for speaking my mind?” Selene looks at her and shakes her head. “No, but I will not visit you anymore until your tests are through. The bonds and oaths in place will remain for your protection, Kaitlin, everything else is over.” With that, the blinding light flashes again and we are alone in the Meadow.
