Sophie nodded once and her eyes went white. I turned and walked out of the room for the first time. The hall was just as old and ruined as the room, but time was not as kind. Mold grew over every inch of stone and the light was dimmed due to the overgrowth surrounding the large windows.
I heard shouting coming from above and saw a hidden staircase that led upwards. ‘Ready Annika?’ I said and saw her grin through our eyes in a clouded section of armor I had not noticed before, so I stepped back to look at it.
