Kaitlin’s POV
I can’t control the sobbing and the pain in my chest is making me hyperventilate. A soft hand strokes my back in soothing circles, and I turn to see a raven-haired woman with pale skin and big black eyes looking softly at me. I don’t feel threatened by her and she seems familiar in a way, “It’s okay little one.” She coo’s and I try to slow my breathing. Her hand is warm and soon my racking breaths turn to slow hiccups. “There-there, now all is well. You are not alone in this and trust me, justice will come for all involved.” Her voice is dangerous, and I nodded.
