Kaitlin's POV
I stared at him in shock as he did nothing but smirk like his last statement was nothing more than a jumble of words. Did he want to marry me? Wolves don't marry anymore. The tradition was lost centuries ago. Once a wolf found its mate, a mating ceremony took place, and that was that. My parents didn't even marry. It was a human thing, and for a second, a vision of him standing and waiting for me flashed before my eyes. I smiled at the possibility and looked at him with tear-filled eyes.
