Sophia's eyes were fixed on the figure standing behind Elizabeth's dissolving body. The figure's piercing blue eyes seemed to bore into Sophia's soul, and she felt a shiver run down her spine.

Valentin stepped forward, his eyes flashing with anger. "Stay back," he growled.

But the figure didn't stop. It kept walking, its eyes fixed on Sophia's.

As the figure drew closer, Sophia saw something that made her heart skip a beat. The figure was holding a small, leather-bound book.

And then, in a flash of insight, Sophia realized the truth.

Sophia's eyes widened as she read the journal entries. The curse had been cast to protect the world from a great evil, one that threatened to destroy everything.

And then, Sophia saw a figure standing in the distance. It was a woman with long, curly hair and piercing green eyes.

It was Elizabeth, the witch who had cast the curse.

Sophia's eyes narrowed as she realized that Elizabeth was not alone. She was standing with a group of people, all of whom seemed to be from different time periods.
