Live with purpose

314 Words
Doing all the things that I mentioned without a definite plan or purpose you just turn your efforts into garbage. Because if you don't have a purpose to what you're doing, you're just living just for the sake of living. Set a goal, make plans, carve your path. "Live with a purpose" means that you need to have an explanation, a reason why you are living. My dream was to be a renowned artist. I want to be known I want my artworks to be in galleries and exhibits. I wanted my art to be appreciated by people. I knew that for me to be able to attain that, I need to practice, paint, and hone my talent. After clocking out of shift from work and once I get home, or try to paint. In my free time, I paint. If I'm not doing anything, I paint. Because I know that my skill talent will not improve if I don't practice. The same goes with photography and spoken word poetry. If I had the chance, I was taking pictures, I was going to gigs, listening to known photographers and poets, and going to talks. I need sure that I was not just working alone. During that moment I know that I am not living alone, I am living with a purpose. Which is to be a better artist. Unfortunately, I did not get the fame and acknowledgment that I was looking for but I learned a very valuable lesson. If you have a plotted purpose or goal in your life, you should do something to make sure that you slowly get there. If you don't step up, you will have no progress at all. Up until now, I am applying the same actions that I did before. Even though my goals have changed, I am still living with a purpose, a more valuable one.
