It was the start of a new day as the sun bloomed against the clear skies. Exciting howls of pups could be heard around the castle. Shortly after, the angry scolds of a mother followed, and the fading footsteps of little feet told me that they were only shifting their mischievous acts to another part of the castle. I fingered my sky blue corset dress as I descended the stairs and greetings filled my ears. It seemed as though everyone had forgotten my little slave episode. A smile of relief creeped into my face as I bid farewell to fetching piles of water, running endless errands and silent mockery. "You." Ryker's voice broke as I walked into the breakfast room. "Good morning." I replied and took my seat beside him. I wasn't supposed to be there. This was Ryker's private breakfast hall.
