Going back AGAIN? ( Chapter 16 )

After my breakfast with Marshall, I quickly got home so that I could freshen up and leave for my afternoon shift at the restaurant.

Today wasn't really a bad day. Surprisingly, everything went really well. Maybe that is because my manager wasn't around. She is a demon in human skin. Of course I am saying this figuratively. She is human, but man, she can take hell anywhere.

I haven't seen Aaron a lot lately. I usually get to see him atleast a few times every week, but lately he hasn't been present.

I asked one of my co-workers, and they told me that he had gone home, and that it had been a week. Well, I thought he was a rogue, and probably din't have a family. But I could be wrong, he may not have told me about it, nor did I ask him since I didn't want him to ask about me.

I tried calling him a few times but I was not able to reach him. Well, I hope he is alright. I do miss him. I know he is not my mate but he has always been there for me in this city when I was in misery. So I hope to see him soon.

After finishing my shift, I cleared everything, put away all the pots, cutlery, plates and stuff.

"I feel the presence of another wolf. It seems familiar but I can't remember whose" said Jk.

So I checked my surroundings.

Getting out, I was shocked to see Beta Kavier. Kavier DeLorean is Alpha Romeo's Beta.

"Beta Kev? How come you're here? wow it's been sometime... how's aunty Jo and the kids? Why are you here, uncle?"

"Isaac, it's been some time, you have surely grown and look so different than you were back home." he said.

"Well, uncle, time does change people and their perspectives and view of life. How did you find me? No one knows I work here, not even the Alpha or Luna".

"Isaac, perhaps you have forgotten. I am one of the best trackers and hunters in this region, nothing can escape my sights if I want to." he said proudly.

Well that is true, he was one of the best, and really good at it.

"Ahh, well yes uncle, it's been some time, how are you?" I gave him a hug.

"I have been good pup, you really have grown..." he said while hugging me and he gave me a kiss on the head.

"well my brother sent me here to get you. Remember? You did tell them you were coming to their celebration..." he asked me.

Well yes, Beta Kev is Alpha Romeo's brother. He was also a really good friend of my father and he was like a brother that my mother never had, apparently they were all quite close.

"Well yes I did uncle, I din't realize that it was this week..."

"Yea, both the alpha and Luna are expecting you the most of all" he told me.

"well, why don't you go ahead 1st... I will sort everything today and I will be there in a day or 2..." I told him.

"No, can do son, you are coming with me now, plus you can sort out anything while we are in the pack..." he said.

"Uncle, why don't you go ahead first and wait for me at the pack borders? I will grab my stuff and be there soon..."

"Isaac, are you trying to avoid me knowing where you live?" he asked me, raising his eyebrows with hands folded.

Dang, I am not able to hide anything from this man....

"Well, I ... I just... Not that...I"

"Isaac, I know where you live," he said.

I was shocked to hear that for a moment.

"Don't worry, No one else knows that I know where you live, not even the Alpha. When you left, all of us were really worried. I was really heartbroken to see that you had to bare so much pain of losing the only family you had. So I pulled in some favors and soon I found out your whereabouts and have been keeping an eye on you ever since. I hope you will forgive me, but I had do to this, It may be not for you but I did this for your mother, I had to do this." he said.

I was speechless, I didn't know what to tell him... does he know everything about me? My true nature and the fact that I have been training privately....

"Look Beta Keviar, I am upset, but I can't be angry at you, I honestly don't know what to say, but thank you. Well I can't say anything more or try to reason with you, I guess. I will go with you, uncle." I told him.

After sorting everything out, I had a two-week leave application and, thankfully, the manager granted me it without any questions, but something tells me this is the work of Beta Keviar.

I packed all my stuff and the gift I bought for Alpha and Luna. This is probably the only thing that I spend most money on in one purchase.

We were now on our way to the DeLorean Pack...

"How are you feeling about meeting them? You know how I feel about them. Don't ever fall for them again. I will never forget what they have done to us and to ....."

"I won't Jk, what they did to us, I will never forget.... remember we are stronger and I have you, so I don't fear anyone not anymore", I told my wolf.

"But something doesn't feel right, can you feel that your being pulled to the pack? It almost feels like we are destined to go back", Jk said.

"Yes, I do feel different and I thought that you might not be happy about this..." I told him.

"Though we may be different, we have different personalities but we are one. Anything you feel, I will feel it too." he said.

"earth to Isaac, Isaac...Isaac" I heard my uncle calling me.

" yes, uncle... sorry I zoned out for a sec there. Why are we here?" I asked him, he stopped at a motel.

"Well, it's more than 1am now. I think we should rest before heading for another few hours of traveling." he said.

So we got to book a room, and thankfully Beta booked a separate room for me.

I got to the room and the first thing I did was to jump on the bed.

"Ahh, I have to say... the motel may look sh*ttier but these beds are quite comforting" I told my wolf. He just humed.

I got off, stripped myself and turned on the tap to fill the bathtub. I jumped right into it once it was to my liking.

"ahh, nothing more comforting than a hot bath" ...

While lying there on the tub with my eyes closed, all I could think of was the night before.

Memories of skin touching each other, the raspy moans, his touch on me, his muscles, the way he held me.... the way his stubble roughly grazed on my skin. Sweats dripping down his back, the way I dug my nails on his back. He carried me to the shower, f*cked me so badly, good. The cold water from the showers wetted me, and his hot kisses on my back gave chills while his erection digged its way into me...

"Arghh, I can't remember his face Jk, Who is he?" I asked him.

"Didn't you feel it? It was the only thing we had been waiting for years... he ... he is our mate" Jk said.

"WHAT?? Why didn't you tell me? Jake, I knew it, but I wasn't sure. Why were you not awake?" I asked him, upset.

"Well that is because we were drugged, you didn't notice because you didn't pay attention. In the Luxure club, they mix a small amount of wolvesbane and Nixocine, both of which are toxic for our kind if given in large amounts. However, consumed in a small amount with other ph level drinks can become a drug for us. Therefore, I believe, the drink that you had may have contained it. Which triggered our heat and may have put me in a sleep after the amazing s*x, God our mate is gorgeoues..." Jk said.

"After going back, I am gonna kill that blood sucker" I told Jk, I knew he was behind this.

Once again his thoughts were filled in my mind, If he is my mate then I believe destiny will pave it's way for us to meet again.
