"Yes Alpha," and with that they were gone. I hurridley got dressed and headed back downstairs. Many of the women and children were huddled in the living room, eyes wide with fear. When I entered the room, they all looked to me.
"Gina are all of the women and children safe?" I asked taking control and being the Luna the pack needed right now.
"Yes Luna," she answered solemly.
I turned to my other pack members and took a deep breath. "Please do not be afraid. As your Luna I will make sure that this house is always safe." Gina gave me a smile and encouraged me on. "Alpha Jared, Beta Conner, and the others are handling the situation at the Border."
I took a breath and gazed into the fifty pairs of eyes looking at me. "We will not let anyone or anything destroy our pack."
