We walked down the pier past all of the shops, games, and rides toward a boat dock where a large boat was docked. Walking up to the gang plank Jared pulled out two dinner tickets and handed them to the crewman. “Enjoy your dinner Mr. Oscar,” he gave me a slow smile and I felt Jared growl. I politely smiled back and pressed myself closer to Jared. We walked aboard the Odyssey and were directed toward the upper deck. I watched as people moved about enjoying their meals and the light classical music that was drifting out of the speakers. Jared led up a flight of stairs and when we were at the top I stopped.
