Kyle had me change into a hospital gown and then lay down on the bed. He hooked me up with a heart monitor and checked to see how dilated I was. “Luna is about 8 centimeters dilated,” he told Jared who had just walked in with my parents. “She will be delivering soon. Alpha there are scrubs outside that I’ll need you to change into.”
Jared nodded and went to change while my parents came by me. “We love you Alivia and we’ll see you when our grandson gets here.” Both of them kissed my forehead.
Twenty minutes later I was fully dilated and ready to push. Jared was standing by my head and holding my hand, telling me that it was going to be okay. “Alright Luna I’ll need you to push. I’m going to count to ten and that’s how long you’ll push.”
