Nimmi's POV I knew that my son could never leave me. I know I am not doing the right thing but I don't have any other option. It was me who promised Paulson Rozario to marry my son to his daughter. It's absurd in this new world. Moreover in the western culture marriage is not a matter of force. Here man and woman chooses whom to marry and not the family's decision. It's different in India. For them, the elders of the family fix the marriage without taking the consent of the girl. I hope it has changed over the years. Nick finally agreed for the wedding just for me. I know I am not doing the right to both my son and to Eleana. But I am bound with my promise. I hope Nick will change after seeing Eleana.
