Lara rushed to the office. She knew that she wouldn't make it on time since Luke's office was a few blocks away from her and she would take 20 minutes to arrive at the office. That's why she didn't text that and call Rebecka.
"Hi Rebs!"
" Where are you? You're not in your office."
"I am out, just fixing something. But, I'm on my way now. Luke will be there in a minute. Just have him to wait for me at the office where I'm at the meeting."
"What? wait- wait- you want me to tell Luke that you are in a meeting?"
"Ohh, this is bad Lara," Rebecka said. She was one of the people she knew that wouldn't tolerate cheating. Who the hell will tolerate that? Lara immediately saw a taxi coming over to the front of the hospital and waved. She hopped in and went back to Rebecka.
" Rebecka listen, I'm not cheating on him."
"Then why? Just tell him where you've been?" Just one.
"Rebecka. just this one okay?" I said
"Just make sure that this is for a good cost," she said, and hung up on me.
"i cannot. It's a private matter, just please tell him that and I'll explain to you." I said and hung up.
