3RD POV Lara stretched her arms and yawned. She really loved being home because of Luke's scent. She smelled the pillow, slowly opened her eyes and stared at the curtains, which were the color grey and turned into something else since the sun was hitting the curtains. After a couple of minutes, Lara prepared to stand up and get her phone prepared as soon as she stand, dizziness and blurry eyes got her. She was so confused, it had been happening for quite a while now and she knew that she needed to get to the doctor as soon as possible. She got scared when blurriness got into her. She couldn't see clearly and her phone vibrated with no vision at all and a headache was punching her brain. She unlocked her phone, unlocked her phone. She suddenly felt numbness all over her body. She couldn't move, she couldn't see anything clearly, a mild headache was getting in the way. She cried and closed her eyes, silently praying. When the headache subsided, she opened her eyes and she immediately lay down on the bed. She badly needs to get checked at the hospital. She gets her pursued, but she doesn't have the time to get her phone or find it. She left home and saw a man walking on the sidewalk and asked him if she needed a bus ride. She needed to get to the hospital and that man quickly helped her. _____________________________ Hospital As the car stopped in front of the hospital, she still didn't like the smell of the hospital, but she needed to get inside. As soon as she stepped into the Hospital, she asked a nurse when to set an appointment and the nurse interviewed her and assisted her with a certain department, which is the Neurology department. After a couple of hours waiting, she finally called and got inside the doctor's room. "Good Morning Doctor." She greeted "Hi, have a seat." While the doctors looked at her information, she looked around the room. It's so clean and elegant, but it doesn't stop her hating the hospitals. "Upon checking her out. You didn't put in any emergency contact number and address either." "Ahhh I wanted this to remain private first." I calmly said and awkwardly gave him a smile. "Hmm i see. So you have a severe headache and you pass out many times?' "Yes. Earlier before getting here, I got dizzy and my surroundings got so blurry that I could not see anything. Then, after a minute, I feel numb and I cannot move." She explained. "How long has it been?" "Like a month ago." "It must be hard for you to handle it alone." I made a fake smile. He made the nurse guide me to the CT-Scan to check my brain, I guess. After an hour of waiting for the result, the nurse approached me again and got me inside the doctor's office. "Hi Lara." "Hi." I mumbled. "Okay. I spent an hour analyzing your MRI and CT scan results. I am the head of neurology just to give you some heads up. I actually sent your CT Scan to our directors to help me get more information regarding these." Doctor Mark explained," I don't know what I should react. I knew that the headaches weren't normal anymore. I just don't want to accept that fact. I held both my hands and looked at the doctor. He showed me his monitor that showed a scan of my brain. He pointed to a white piece like a rock in the center of it. "This is a tumor." I gripped my hands as I tried not to react, but my emotions were really a at betraying me. "I believe that it's been staying in your brain for a year and the symptoms at just got worse. that's why you noticed it." I cannot look the doctor because my tears just keep running down on my cheek. "We will do some bloodwork to see if it's cancerous or not." He added. "and I would really recommend you to tell your family about this. I'll be honest with you." She wiped her tears off her face, and slowly found the courage to look at the doctor. "This will not be easy, since it progresses quickly and its location is very risky. We will need to cut your skull open to take some tumor and get a biopsy." He explained. She couldn't respond yet, so she just listened and composed herself, as other information "We cannot remove all the tumors in one operation. Since it's location is near the cerebrum, we need to avoid hitting it, because if we hit even a slight touch, you can fall into a coma or death." " What if I don't have surgery?" "Prior to analyzing more likely a year, still not sure since we still have not yet checked if it's cancerous." She remained quiet as the doctor kept explaining how it does work, how much it will cost, the survival rate. The doctor actually also convinced Lara to tell her parents about it to gain support because it won't be easy alone.
