Chapter Thirty Broken The guards brought her down off the catwalk and skirted the marketplace to bring her to a nearby apartment building. The entire bottom floor was an open cafeteria that had been turned into a holding area. A medical center had been set up in one corner with cots and basic equipment situated near a glass door through which Valentina could see a pair of ambulances waiting outside.
