CHAPTER 5: THE SHOP SHOPPING

After dressing up I left the house, I don't want mum or junior know my whereabout,

I brought out my phone as I dialled Vikki's number,

“ Hello miss, I've been waiting for you” she said,

“ What? Why didn't you call?” I asked,

“ Check your phone and tell me how many missed calls you have” she said in angry tone,

“ Ok ok where are you now?” I asked,

“ Am In a beautiful sight that I saw online, baby you will love this place, it spacious and entertaining,” she said,

“ Ok text me the address “ I said as I cut the call,

Immediately I saw the message I called a cab, I told him the address and the cab sped off,

In the cab I was just thinking of mum, I regretted what I did yesterday, I shouldn't have Burst out like that, I don't want to let her know of the money till I build up my self,

The car came to a stop beside the road, the place were filled with people I mean a lot of people, it a very big place,

I paid the driver and came out of the car,

I stood there just watching everything and everywhere, the place was so beautiful,

I was about calling Vikki when I sighted her from across,

I crossed over to her side,

“Wow Vikki are you sure we can afford this place?” I asked cause am not with all the money I just took the one I felt will buy a shop for me,

“We will baby it might even be cheaper “ Vikki said as she drew my hand and dragged me inside the building,

As we got in the inside was so big, we stopped at the front counter were a lady was sitting,

“ Are you here for job interview or shop purchases” she asked,

“ Shop purchasing” I said,

“Fill this form after that you take it to the Lady over there,” she said handing us the form and pointed at the direction of the other woman,

We took the form to the empty counter and started filling it,

After filling it we took it to the Lady we were instructed to give the form,

The price for the shop is $50,000, she said making my jour drop, “ what?” I said,

The money me and Vikki contributed was $40,000,

“Can we pay 40 now then tomorrow we will pay the rest”, I asked

“ Sure you can, you just have to fill this form, and when are you paying the rest,,” she said giving me another form,

“Tomorrow “ I said as she jutted it down and asked me to sign, after signing We went to the empty counter and started filling the form, the policy was much it says,

1, no refunds 2,must pay all even if the shop is not needed by you, 3, you will willing accept the consequences if money is not paid at the due date, 4, if the shop is not needed there is fine to pay”

We agreed in all, and summited the form,

“ The limit of payment is in 6 months,but since it tomorrow you signed it already,” she said ,

“ No problem on that” I said as we paid the money and left the building,

On our way going we were so excited, we were even dancing on the road,

“ I can't believe we are now a shop owner” Vikki said with excitement,

“ Yes we are” I said,

As we were dancing and jubilating my phone rang,

I checked the caller it mum,

“. “ Why is mum calling me now” I said placing the phone on my ears,

“ Hello mum” I said,

“ Sorry Is this Miss Anastasia grope?” The person from the line said,

That's not my mum's voice,

“ Yes I am, is anything wrong?” I asked,

“ Your mum was just rushed to the hospital” she said,

“Which hospit…,” I tried to say something but the line has cut already,

“ No no no not now “ I said while calling a cab,

“ Ana what's wrong?” Vikki asked while following me around,

“ Mum was just rushed to the hospital, I have to go” as I stopped a cab and rushed in, Vikki also rushed in,

I gave the driver my address and the car sped off,

Immediately the driver stopped at my gate I ran out of the cab,

“ Miss my money” the driver said,

“How much is it ?” Vikki Asked,

Immediately I heard Vikki asked I knew she would take care of it so I just ran into the house,

I got the living room and saw junior sitting alone on the couch, his eyes were as red as,

“ Junior I called as I walked towards his direction,

“ Sister Ana” he cried out as he heard my voice and also ran towards me,

“ What happened to mum?” I asked junior as I hugged him,

“ I don't know when we woke up she didn't talk to me, then later she brought my food and left for the kitchen, after some while she didn't come out so I went into the kitchen and saw her lying lifeless on the flour,

Ana mummy won't die right?” He asked as tears fall like rain fall from his eyes,

“ No mum won't die” so do you know the hospital where mum is taken to?* I asked him,

“ Yes the hospital at the next street” he said,

“ Come on let go,” I said as I took his hands and left the house,

Immediately we came out Vikki was about coming in,

“She is at the nearby hospital here” I told her and we all went to the hospital,

As got to the hospital we went to the receptionist and told her who we were looking for,

“ Ok Stella grope is in ward 30 “ immediately she said that we all ran to the room,

Immediately we saw the room I was about to go in when a doctor stopped me,

“ Please come with me “ he said as he walks away and I followed him,

We got into his office he offered me chair and sat on his chair,

“ Please what is wrong with my mum?” I asked him praying it not something severe,

“She has a kidney failure, and she needs kidney transplant in the next one month or am sorry to say this but we might loose her,” he said making me cry in bitterness,

“How much is the transplant?” I asked,as I prayed within me,

“ It is $75,000” he said,

“ Yes yes I have…… no no we paid the shop bills , how can I get this huge amount of money?” I asked no one in particular,

“I have a job that pays faster and easier “ the doctor said, making me look at him,

“ And what is it” I asked,

“ It a union where the most richest come to they pay larger” he said,

“ And what is it?” I asked again in a eager way,

“ By selling your body, you know what I mean?” He said,
