Kristoff laughed and said, "But I am a true Jarl." A Jarl that is exclusive to you The wedding officiant, Gamma Austin, then began the ceremony. "Family and friends, I appreciate your attendance today to celebrate this wonderful event. "But before he could finish, I saw a man stabbing him in the back. We are here together to unite Jarl Kristoff Bjorn of Ironflame Pack and his mate Sabrina Lynn Rosenberg in March." Shouts and gasps erupted as the Ironflame members began stabbling persons in the vicinity. My gaze shifted to my dad. He was equally astounded. I witnessed Ulf, an obedient moonwolf guard, stabbing my father in the back before he could even react. My father's mouth was gushing blood as he looked at me. "No, Dad!" When reality hit, I yelled. I kept calling out to my father, who was lying on the ground, bleeding and defenceless. Everyone sprang into a frenzy, running for their life. It was very strange how quickly my ideal wedding turned into a nightmare. Kristoff and I were both struck with disbelief. My wedding was a deadly ambush, with the Ironflame Pack itself serving as the mastermind. I was astounded to notice how the entire surround seemed to lose air. My heart thumping, I hurried to my father's side and embraced him tight, letting warm liquid stream down my palms. Dad had no idea why this treachery was occurring, and he was coughing in shock and confusion. My face was wet with tears, and I was so angry that I screamed at the people who were in charge. "Why? On my wedding day, why?"The savagery of their timing was beyond my comprehension. The moonwolf lifted his hand, and his soldiers advanced to keep me apart from my father x. "Nah! Please release me! Dad! Dad!" I argued, but the men securing my arms ignored my cries. "Leave my friend alone!" Kristoff made demands, but his troops would not hear him. He stormed to his father's side, demanding explanations, his rage building. "Pastor, what does this mean? We are getting married! Why did you permit this to occur?" However, the tranwolf gave no explanation; instead, he only nodded to his soldiers, giving them a clear and understood order. One of his faithful followers, Rolf, and the others violently took Kyistoff away. Kyistoff resisted and cried out, "Rolf, no! Please release me! That is a directive! Brina, Brina, Brina!!!" Between wanting to follow after Kristoff and wanting to be with my injured father, I watched in agony as they took him away. I begged Kristoff to come to our aid, but we both felt completely defenceless. I glanced back at my father and noticed the moonwolf was glBrinang at him. It was clear that my father was confused, not understanding why his best friend had planned this treachery. His voice filled with anguish and treachery, "Ragnar, why?" moonwolf grinned. "This is what you should have expected when you did what you did." "What are you trying to say? I had no idea what you were—" In retaliation, the moonwolf struck my father hard in the face. "Do not try to trick me! Simply acknowledge your actions. Maybe I could forgive you if you would."a My father was filled with confusion and terror as he exclaimed, "What did I do to deserve this?" The moonwolf kept berating my father while yanking his collar. "Denver, stop acting like you do not know anything! We have exposed your nefBrinaous actions! You were working behind my back to usurp my kingdom! How could you turn on a buddy of your own? We engaged in combat as a team! regarded you as a sibling! My heart broke for my father as he endured this unrelenting attack. With all of my last power, I was able to break free from their hold because I could not stand to watch my devoted father in such a state. I put out my hands and begged for compassion as I ran towards my father. "Please, honourable one. Please be a little kinder to my father. Give him a fair trial at the very least so he may provide a defence if you genuinely think he committed a crime. Please, please stop hurting him. I beg you, please." The moonwolf stopped for a second before savagely pushing me to the ground in spite of my cries. "I have strong evidence that he is guilty, therefore there is no need for that." "No, Brina! Keep my daughter safe. Please, nothing hex!" Rolf pulled me away, and I could not break free from his strong hold. All I could do was yell for Kristoff to come get us, but she might have taken him into custody too. I was utterly powerless, and my father's life was in jeopardy. Dad turned to face the moonwolf then. "I have the right to know who set this up. Tell me, Ragnar. What concrete evidence do you have to support your claim that I truly deceived you?" "Oh, that is not too hard." The moonwolf gave a hand clap. Gwen and the quivering Ohema stepped forward from behind. My father's eyes and mine both widened in dismay. "Gwen? Ohema? His expression was one of bewilderment as he inquired, "What is the purpose of this?" Ohema and Gwen stayed silent and bowed their heads before the moonwolf. "Everything your wife told me was here. Your dear wife and daughter told stories of how you set up meetings in secret with my opponent. They also brought me a spy, who admitted to working for you and exchanging military secrets with them when put under tremendous pressure. Do you still dare to deny anything at this point?" "That is untrue! No way would my father act like that!" I yelled. When Gwen heard that, she turned to face me with a sly smile. "My powerful moonwolf," she started speaking to Alpha Ragnar. "You should deeply harm my spouse if you are seeking a confession from him." "How?" inquired moonwolf.
