Chapter Twelve: The Final Straw

Benita was heartbroken as she watched Tave and Rachel together, their relationship seemingly stronger than ever. She had tried everything to win him back, but it seemed like he was completely under Rachel's spell. Every conversation they had ended in an argument, with Tave defending Rachel's latest lie or exaggeration.
