Chapter Eleven SHE KNEW WHO stood on the other side of the door even before he knocked. However, she finished pouring her tea before going over and letting him into her private sanctuary. When she did open the door finally, she didn’t even have time to say hello or step out of the way before he shoved his way inside her cabin, a scowl twisting his features. “Well, please, do come in,” she deadpanned as she shut the door. “Would you like some tea? Or are you simply going to start in on whatever rant you have brewing inside that skull of yours?” He spun when he hit the middle of the living room. “Don’t f**k with me,” he snarled. “You knew damn well I was out there.
