"Why did your brother refer to you as his, Ayra?"
Even though Ayra was greatly taken aback by that sudden question, she didn't show it. She knew having a secret relationship with her brother would certainly cause suspicions but she wasn't expecting it this early. Was Selene that keen-eyed? Was she watching them or was it just a coincidence?
"You must have misunderstood the whole thing. I belong to nobody, that's for sure. My middle name is Jasmine and that's where 'Mine' originated from."
"Really?" Selene's eyes widened a bit. "I didn't know that."
"Well, now you do. On the night of the Alpha's party, you mentioned having a brother. But then again, you're an only child. How come?" She asked, not wanting to make the atmosphere more awkward.
