Edorian territories nowadays.A little north of their position, the river was diverted by a boulder, a huge mass of rusty metal so massive that thousands of years had failed to alter it. As the Unster skimmed it, the road was forced to go around it on the other side. For half a length, they rode away from the river.
Once they had passed, Saalyn gave the signal to stop. An Edorian rushed up the hill. When he came down after a few stersihons, the riders had all dismounted.
“There are six of them," he said, "five mercenaries and the sponsor.”
“What are their forces?" asked Aster.
“I didn't see any bows. Only swords. They certainly have daggers hidden on them. All of them have leather armor, although they don't wear it.”
