“I felt him rip right through me. His body shredded mine and the blood flowed. I buckled against the pain and I welcomed it. It felt like I was being f****d with a knife.” I opened my eyes and saw William. The overhead light still cast a dull orange over my kitchen table. Without a word, I took up a cigarette from my pack of kreteks and I lit it. I breathed deep the sweet taste of clove and inhaled. I wanted to kill. I wanted my swords. I needed to fight.
