CHAPTER 1

"I'm sorry for being late, just had to fix something." She said, arrogance is visible on her voice.

"It's fine, Kee." Mark said, while the rest were just staring at her as if they just seen her.

Well, you can't blame them, they are staring at the world's most beautiful and sexiest woman alive, ranking top 1 consistently, the highest net worth celebrity, has the biggest fandom, the most followed person on all social media platforms, the most famous, Keeriane Threign, that even the seven wonders of the world will be changed to eight just to include her on the list.

Yeah, she just broke everyone's record.

But there's two, either they're intimidated by her beauty, or they are just surprised to have her as part of the cast and they don't like it.

Arrogance.

She is that type of person that you can actually tell that she is arrogant, mean, and rude just by looking at her looks.

but the truth is, once you will find out what's inside her heart, you will never see her the same way again because she is the type of the person that is so damn expensive, the one that is on the very top, and yet manages to be humble and down to earth despite of having all of the blessings in the world that God has given her.

And the only thing that people hates her is that she is real. She doesn't do the faking. She do what she wanna do. She says what she wanna say, it doesn't matter if it's offending or what, she's just keeping it real because she's not afraid to make enemies.

She never cared about anyone or anything around her, she's just minding her own business and she never cared about other people's opinion about her.

Perhaps, she barely laughs because her happiness is just so hard to find.

She would rather be alone and enjoy her own company, but she still knows how to deal with different type of people when they're around.

She is the most unbothered and relatable celebrity ever, the reason why everyone still loves her despite of all of her issues in life, because many still believes in her kindness.

She may be rude and arrogant, but she is always willing to lend out help especially to those who is in need without telling everyone about the good deeds she made.

Some people hates the reality, and that is why some celebrity hates her.

They are quite disappointed that it was her, but they don't have any choice but to just play along since it was the director's plan.

No one wants to be with her in a movie but she couldn't care less. In the end, all of her co stars will pave their way to be friends with her.

"Omggg. Hi! Nice to finally meet you! You look...very stunning in person!" Samantha greeted her first and gave her a kiss on the cheeks, she was kind of hesitant to do it at first but still did it just to make it doesn't seem so bad, they could even feel the tension.

People judging her because of her status, because of her wealth, because of her image, because of her intimidating looks is not new to her anymore, but she never took that negatively. Instead, she's just showing them the act of kindness that at the end they're going to feel guilty about and be sorry.

She's obviously on the top, and people will do anything just to drag her down.

But damn, no, she is a strong, independent, empowered woman, and no one could ever take her down. She's not going to let anyone do that to her.

They can spread all the lies, all the fake issues, but that won't ruin her. She won't do anything to ruin her reputation, they can do everything and think of everything they want because at the end, it would always be them who's going to be embarassed.

She never show disrespect to those who disrespect her, she never show rudeness to those who are rude to her and no one would even know why she is always that kind and is willing to help even if she knows that she is stabbing you.

"Thanks, you too." she smiled.

After Samantha, all of the cast greeted her then gave her a kiss on the cheeks, until it's Tom's turn.

"H-hello, Kee. Nice to have you here with us. Welcome, welcome to the family!" He greeted and smile, but his smile was very slight you can actually tell it's showing unhappiness.

"Thanks, Tom." She smiled.

He faked a smile again and gave her an awkward kiss on the cheeks.

"Please have a seat, Kee." The director said, pointing out to the chair.

Tom pulled out the other chair beside his and looked at her as if telling her to have a seat.

Keeriane thanked her and sat down before him.

"Okay, so Keeriane would be the twist that I am talking about." Mark said. "Kee, I just want you to know that it is an honor for me to have you here with us. Thank you so much for accepting my proposal. I know that you have a lot of proposals and projects but still you chose us."

"Oh, it's nothing, Mark. I am also honored for being part of your family now. I know you guys are familiar with my bad reputation but you still managed to trust me and choose me to be part of this journey." She said, but you can sense on her words that she's hurt when she mentioned about her reputation.

"I honestly don't care about those fake issues about you. I know you. I believe in your kindness, Kee. That's why I chose you." Mark added.

Tom felt a bit guilty hearing that because he's sitting next to a woman that he judged earlier.

Well, you can't call that judging if it's true, right?

He thought.

Samantha gave him a nudge on his feet secretly, as if saying that they are thinking the same way about her.

Sam and Tom were already good friends because they were once have been together in a movie, so they are quite close since a lot of people are also shipping them.

He just looked at her then sighed.

They were all happy earlier, but she just ruined their mood for no reason.

"So, anyways, the role that she would be playing will be so important." Mark said, looking at all of us.

"What would it be?" Tom asked.

"You will all find out during the set." He smirked, looking at Keeriane. "I would like to challenge miss Keeriane Threign to take the risk of getting into something she is not sure of."

"Challenge accepted." she confidently said, looking so effortlessly cool.

"That's what I love about you, Kee." Mark smiled. "And I think that's what you need to know as of now."

a few moments after talking about the movie, they ended it up with a good lunch.

"And then I was like, 'I'll just let y'all think what y'all want to because that ain't my problem anymore.' Really, I am so tired of hearing those. I got no explaining to do because they don't deserve that." She exclaimed.

If it was not about her image and her status, everyone would want to be friends with her. She seems to be the nice and cool girl that you can tell everything and she will always be there for you whenever you need her.

The way she talks, she seems to be just like a normal person. She doesn't talk like an spoiled brat, but rather she talks like your bro, or that cool best friend that can actually make your whole life miserable and yet happy.

The personality that they are seeing in front of them right now is very far from what other celebs say about her.

The fact that she's exposing all of her issues in life with all of the people that she just met in front of her is someone that everyone should be jealous of.

It just shows how much she trusts them already.

They are having lunch and Mark asked her about the cheating issue about her that Mark believes is not even true.

the rest of the cast are pretending to be listening to the convo, but they are feeling bored and just want shits to get ovr with, they didn't even bothered to listen to their conversation.

After hours of talking about the movie and each other's lives, they decided to end the meeting.

"Please feel free to finally announce the real title when you get home. I will just send an email to each on of you about the shooting, but as of now, I advice you also to start accepting interviews and all but be careful not to drop any hint, except for Kee." Mark said. "No one's going to talk about Kee being in the movie because this is going to be a surprise to the fans."

"Got it, Marky."

"Thank you all so much for your time. I'll end the meeting here." Marky said.

Each one of them bid their goodbye to each other before leaving.

"Hey, Kee. Do you got plans today?" Tom asked Keeriane as they were the only one walking together out of Mark's patio, everyone already went home.

"Nothing, I guess. Why?" She asked.

"Oh, I see. Nothing, just asking. Sooo, I'll go home now. Just hit me up whenever you need anything, alright?" He doesn't want to seem so snobbish, that's why he just wanted to ask random questions, just to make everything less awkward.

She nodded. "Yeah, thanks, Tom. I appreciate it. Take care!"

"Yeah, you too!" he laughed, before he get into his car, he heard her cursed.

"Holy shit." She mumbled.

He looked at her who seems to be having a problem with her car.

"What's wrong?" He asked. Well, it would be rude for him if he just go home and just ignore her having problems right? Because a real man wouldn't do that to a lady, even if he kinda hates her. "Is there any problem with your car?" He asked, looking at the tires where Kee was looking at.

"Yeah, someone might have stabbed the tires with a knife or something." She groaned.

"Really? That's so mean!" Tom uttered.

He knows she has a bad reputation, but either way, no one deserves anything like this.

"It's okay. I'm used to something like this. It's nothing new." She sighed, and Tom looked at her then blinked multiple times.

He couldn't believe what she said.

He couldn't believe how she manages to be calm and how she would be okay with this. How can she act so kind.

If it is anyone whose Lamborghini's tires has been stabbed, they would actually overreact, call the police or make anything worse and tell the whole world about it.

She's rich. A Lambo is just nothing she can't afford. She won't overreact with something like this because she can just replace it.

He felt bitterness in him when he thought of that. He hate to admit it, but he has been brainwashed with all of the issues about her.

"Do you need any help?" He asked anyways.

"Uh, no, I got this. I'll just call my driver."

Tom looked around. "It's like thirty degrees celcius here and you're alone. I can't leave you here." He sighed.

He's the one who saw her and he doesn't want to feel guilty and blame himself when something bad happens to her. He doesn't want to take the accountability but he doesn't have any choice, and plus, he is not that type of guy.

"Is it okay if we can just leave your car around here? You can just ask someone from your house to come pick it up." He suggested. "I'll give you a ride."

Right after he said that, he regretted right away.

Her cheating issues are still fresh, and they're both famous.

He doesn't want to get involve with all of her issues, and he doesn't want people to think that there's something going on between them.

He looked around to see any paparazzi, but there isn't any.

He let out a deep breath, and Keeriane knew what's on his mind.

"It's okay. I can wait for them inside my car, and besides, Mark's house is just a few steps away. I don't want you to get involved with any--"

"No, no, it's not like that. Well, it's fine with me. I'm sorry for making you think that way." He defended. "I can't leave someone like Keeriane Threign here, come on, I don't want the whole world attacking me." He joked.

"Are you really s--"

"I said, get in, miss Keeriane." Tom demanded, opening tye door on his car's shotgun seat, making her cut her words.

She just sighed. "If you say so, Tommy." She said, getting into his car, making Tom following after her.

He won't really mind being seen on the public with her, of course she is awesome, but he just doesn't want to get involved in any issues since he never had one.

"So, where do you stay at?" He asked when he finally had the chance to drive properly.

"In Hidden Hills." She answered. "But you can drop me off at any nearest bus station, I don't mind riding one."

Tom gave her a glance. "Damn, you're nuts." He laughed, as if she's just joking.

"What? It's not like something new to me tho, plus, it's more fun riding in bus."

Tom looked at her again, his eyebrows furrowed. "Are you serious, Kee?"

She nodded. "Yeah. I've done that for like a couple times now. People are so nice. I just love experiencing things that my parents doesn't allow me to. It makes me feel like a normal person." She sighed. "I think there's nothing wrong in riding a bus."

"You rode a bus alone?!" She nodded which made him even more shook. "Whaaat?! You're like the first celebrity who have done that. What if something bad happens to you? Damn, you little bad girl, you should've listen to your parents!" He laughed.

"No, they are all nice. I love being around them." She said. "Whenever I'm with them, I feel like I'm having a break from being Keeriane Threign. I just love the feeling. Seeing people smile and be happy because of your little action melts my heart."

Tom looked at her, she's looking in front and a small smile is drawn upon her face, showing sincerity.

And it's his first time to see her smile.

He is not expecting to hear this words from someone like her.

No matter how bad your reputation is, I still love the fact that you are a kind hearted, Kee.

He smiled.

"You know what? I would like to try that too."
