LUCIFER TOUCHED DOWN on the terrace and Kissera greeted him with a tight smile. He entered her apartment to make room for Azazel, Charouth, and Zarek to land. Something had changed in her, but he'd have to wait until they were alone to ask what happened. It'd been a busy three days and there was still so much left to do.
Kissera's lair wasn't the perfect place to meet, but it was the safest. At least Lucifer was sure they wouldn't be spied on by any of Beleth's minions, their planning session was secure.
The expedition had grown to five members. Somehow Kiss had managed to convince Charouth to join them. The two of them stood on the terrace whispering to each other. A week ago, he would have bet Az an entire chest of kaspu that these women would never be friends.
