Chapter 6

Credieu's POV

After taking a halfbath, I heard a knocks. Maybe they are telling me to come down. It's quarter to three and I think we'll not talk that long right?

As I went down, I saw them in the living room. Probably they are waiting for me. I assume that they still didn't feel my presence because they are not yet looking at me.

" So what's the news about the owner tita? " I asked. " At magkano pa po ang kulang? "

Before answering, she took her phone and do something in it.

" The two of you payed half of the price and, Eia when you reach your legal age, pwede mo ng makuha yung pera na iniwan sayo ng mama mo. In that case, the two of you will not have a hard time struggling about the condo unit since Eia's birthday is about to come. " tita stated.

Hays! Konting tiis na lang Eia makakaalis na kayo sa bahay ng step mom mo. You can do it!

" But Tita, when can we be able to stay in that unit? I mean can we stay there after buying it? Or we need to wait for a few days before going there? " its Chloe. Yeah right. I was going to ask that but she said it first so the least thing I would do is to listen.

" As what I remember, you can stay there after you bought the unit. But, the best thing is to let them clean the unit first which it it will take time so basically, you can stay there the day after you bought them. "

" Pwede bang sabihin na lang namin sa maglilinis na bilisan yung paglilinis? So we can stay there? " Chloe asked.

" I was also thinking about that but definitely we can't do it. Due to the huge space of the unit, it will take time for them to clean the whole thing. But after buying, we can now look for the appliances or stuffs that we're going to put. " I suggested.

" That's absolutely right Eia! Chloe, you have a good taste of fashion, and you know a lot about designs so we will leave that to you. " tita said.

" Okay okay okay. " Chloe replied happily.

Pagtapos ng pag uusap, umalis na kami ni Chloe sa bahay nila Tita dahil baka gabihin kami. Mahihirapan kaming makauwi ng maaga kase matraffic.

Tita Brenda offers us to eat dinner there but we refuse, though we also want to eat there because Tita's cook is very delectable. It's because she's a retired chef from a very famous restaurant before. That's why the two of us wants to eat there. Kung pwede lang araw arawin namin ang pagpunta don eh. Pinabaunan nya na lang kami para pagdating sa bahay ay may kakainin daw kami. May pagkain naman sa bahay pero mas masarap yung luto ni tita kaya kinuha na namin yung pinabaon nya.

Since we refuse to eat, we decided to buy a food from a fast food resto. Just burger, fries and drinks are enough. We'll just eat dinner when we get there. Chloe doesn't want the drivethru so I don't have a choice but to go down and buy inside the resto.

I was about to go inside the drive seat when someone poke me at my back. So I tilt my head to check who is it.

It's an old woman wearing a dress. A black dress with a big hoodie. It frightened me a little but just a little.

" Malapit na iha, malapit na malapit na. " she said. I look at her with confusion and ask her.

" Ano pong malapit na? "

" Siguro yung pagbili natin ng condo. " sabat ni Chloe. Tinignan ko sya ng parang nagpapatahimik kaya di na siya nagsalita. But I heard her laugh. She's just stopping it.

" Paparating na ang araw na makikilala mo sila. Pero bago iyon, may tao na magiging malapit sayo. Siya ang susi para makilala ang tunay mong mga magulang. Kaya magingat ka iha. May hahadlang at hahadlang sayo, sainyo bago mangyari iyon. " she stated then leave.

As she turned her back, my mind made up a lot of question. Who is she? What is she saying? Tunay mong mga magulang? Is mommy not my real mom? Wait wait wait – why am I really bothered about this? It's nonsense. But, aish!

" Come on. Hop in. " I said.

While driving, I feel hungry that's why I ask Chloe to give me the burger.

" Do you think it's true? " suddenly, she asked.

I know that she's referring to what the old grandma said. I don't want to think about it but the word " tunay mong mga magulang " keeps bothering me.

" The what? "

" The one that the old granny said duh! "

" Ofcourse I don't. Maybe she's out of her mind. My real mom died and my real father is doing his work. I know a lot about them so the one that she said doesn't bother me. "

" Ooh.. Okay " she answered as if she doesn't believe me.

Since I don't want to make the conversation long, I just silently nodded.

When we reach our destination, which is our house, I parked my car and went to my room. Chloe will be the one to prepare our dinner. And me, I'll just rest then take a bath because I feel sticky.

I went to the kitchen to eat dinner when suddenly I remember something. Shems! This week is our founding anniversary! It only means one thing, I will be very very invicible in our school. Not literally invicible, but you know what I mean.

Founding anniversary cannot be celebrated without pageants, booths, games or whatever. While me being me doesn't care about them so they will just ignore my existence and be very busy about that. I'm happy because yeah my existence will be ignored and no one will bully me,

As far as I know, wednesday is the exact date for the anniversary. They just decided to include the whole week so they have time to prepare and have time to clean the mess they make after the anniversary.

" What's our dish for today? " I asked.

I didn't check it a while ago because we're in a rush. I just get it to Tita then put it in the car and drove our way to our house.

" Lechong Paksiw. Our favorite! " she said as if it's her first time tasting it.

" Nice... " I replied then sat down.

After eating dinner, I take a rest then take a shower before going to bed. I will not read today since tomorrow we don't have class. Yes I'm an aloof but I don't want to bury my self on a book. I also need to rest and leave the books. I need to relax too.

I hope tomorrow's day will be okay. When everything is done, I press the lights off and lay on my bed.
