Chapter 4

Credieu's POV

When I reached the house, I realize that tomorrow will be Chloe's arrival. She'll give me chocolates tomorrow and I'm sure about that. She always gives me a pasalubong whenever she's going back. And I'm so lucky to have her even if I don't like her mom.

It's not yet dark outside so I went to the mall and play arcades. Just to relax and enjoy myself.

While playing, I remember that next week is foundation day. The next whole week must be boring again. Kung pwede lang wag pumasok di ako papasok eh. But I also don't want to stay at the house. It's a hell. And Crystal is the living demon.

I was bothered when I saw a mother feeding a pizza with her daughter. I suddenly miss my mom. That stupid pizza.

( Flashback )

My head hurts and my brain is drained because of that test. I am not a robot so I need to rest also. Even the robot needs to rest too.

" Hey sweetie! Want some pizza? " my mom said.

I nod in response. Being with her makes me feel relaxed. A simple thank you is not enough for her sacrifice and kindness. I'm so blessed to have a mother like her.

" Okay! Just rest my princess. " she said with full of energy.

I am in the middle of dreaming when I heard a gunshot. It's a gunshot. And it's not a joke. It makes my heart tremble and my knees are shaking. In ny mind, I'm stuck between if I go down or just stay here.

I need to clear the thoughts in my mind. It will just put me in danger. At the end, I went downstairs to check my mom.

My heart suddenly forgot to pump when I saw my mom showered her self in the pool of her blood. I had the urge to hug my mom when someone wants to shoot her again.

I don't care if I die. All I want to do now is to safe my mom. She's the most precious person in my life. My life is nothing if she's not with me.

A bullet was released from a g*n when I felt something in my arms. Dumamplis lang ang bala pero ramdam ko pa din ang pagtulo ng aking dugo. Mahapdi. Makirot. Masakit. But this pain is nothing than the pain that my mother have.

She might die because of blood loss and also from that gunshot. I cannot carry her and I don't know what to do first. Her shot is 5 and I can't give her the first aid I learned because it's just for a simple wound. So all I do is to cover all her shot to stop the blood from flowing and called my dad to come over.

As soon as my dad carry my mom, my vision starts to blur and a second or two, it all went black.

( End of Flashback )

I didn't realize that I'm crying. So, I immediately wipe it off before someone will say that I'm crazy for crying alone.

Before bursting out, I leave in the arcade and find some foods. I want to eat. My goal is to relax today and no negative thoughts in my mind. It'll just mess my mind.

I want to eat a lot of rice so I went to a buffet restaurant. It's not that expensive and it will give me benefits so I didn't back off. It's worth it though. Obviously, the restaurant is eat all you can, bruh it's a buffet ofc. Naguguluhan na ako sa sarili ko. I don't even understand myself. All I need right now is food.

A lot of foods are in front of me right now. And my pets in my stomach is craving for them so I didn't even think twice before eating those.

After eating, my phone is vibrating so I assume that someone is calling.

Chloe calling...

They're probably on their way home now. And I bet she'll stay in my room. Well, it's not new and I'm used to it.

" Ye? " I answered.

" Hey we're almost there. I think you need to go home na. " she replied.

" Okeoke. I'll just take a rest before going. Call me when you get there. Bye lovelots mwah! " then I ended the call.

Ofcourse I need to take a rest. I might get—what you call that? Ulcer? Appendix? Appendicitis? Maybe it's one of them. HAHAHAHHAHAH!

I'm on my way home driving when I realized the cake I made. Chloe must see it first before someone else. So I decided to call her.

Chloe's POV

The music stopped when I heard somone calling. I didn't take a look at it and just answered it. Maybe it's Eia.

" Hey! I just wanna tell you to get the cake I baked for you incase that you go first. Its in the fridge. There's a note outside so you can easily determine it. That's all bye! " yeah it's her. I bid a goodbye first before ending the call.

She baked a cake for me? Well, that's new. She only knew how to cook but not to bake. Eia probably do it right even if she don't master it at all. She's a fast learner though.

By the way, I am Chloe Grayson, half sister of Eia. Eversince her mom died I am always the one who stand by here side. Sometimes I get tired but I don't want to quit.

My mom always told me to stay away from Eia, don't go near her, don't be close with her or trick her. Aside from that, she always gives me reason to hate her. She always makes a story that will make Eia bad. And I don't like it.

You know, Eia is a very very good girl. She's a nice person and she's always smiling but that's before. Now? She changed. And for me, as a sister, I want to bring back the old her. I want her to smile genuinely again. I don't want to see her plastic smile coz its very obvious. Her eyes are full of sadness. It needs a treatment to bring it back again so I'm giving my best for her.
