I woke up the next morning to the sound of pots clanking. I saw Niray on the little kitchen preparing some breakfast, and I got out of the bed to greet her.
“Good morning, my lovely girl” I whispered in her ear, making her smile while I kissed her cheek.
“Good morning to you, my handsome boy” she said, teasing my greeting. I headed to the bathroom to do my business while she finished cooking.
“I was wondering if you wanted to take a walk through the fields, my grandma and I used to walk every morning and enjoy the morning breeze” she said.
“Of course, love” I replied with my toothbrush in my mouth as I was trying to finish brushing my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom and breakfast was already served.
