Amy’s POV:
The atmosphere was thick when we joined everyone at the bonfire and gathering, they prepared outside.
I saw the confused look on Connor’s face, but he didn’t say anything.
Chris guided us toward some chairs that had been placed close to the fire.
We took our seats and everyone else also took seats in and around the bonfire. I felt a little uncomfortable and tried to search through
the faces for some friendly face. Everyone was laughing but it didn’t reach their eyes, their eyes seemed hard.
I noticed a blond girl standing to the side. She was dressed as the other warriors, but she wasn’t part of them. She kept staring at
Connor, when she noticed me looking at her, she quickly looked away.
Chris stepped forward and raised his hands to quiet everyone.
