Connor’s POV:
The weeks drew into months, and we had no word from Calib, it was like he vanished completely of the face of the earth. I checked in with his pack every now and then and they were doing well, but I could see that they needed their Alpha, they were kind of lost without him. It worried me that he hadn’t checked in with us yet. Not even with Kai and Cain.
I smelled my mate approach and turned in that direction.
Amy walked into the dining room, and I could sense that something was wrong.
“What’s wrong Ames”.
She gave me a concerned look, she held up a pregnancy test “I’m still not pregnant” I saw as water started to fill her eyes.
“My sister is about to give birth and I still haven’t conceived yet. I think something is wrong with me”.
